Sweet Rolls



These sweet rolls are so good, you will never need another recipe! Their soft and fluffy texture is ready in 45 minutes. Nothing pre-made or canned dough. Chef Corina whipped these up from scratch and rises to perfection.

  • 00 ¼ cup Water, warm
  • 00 1 cup Milk, warm
  • 00 ¼ cup Sugar
  • 00 2 ¼ tsp Instant** or active dry yeast*
  • 00 1 Egg
  • 00 ½ tsp Salt
  • 00 ⅓ cup Vegetable Oil
  • 00 4 cups All - Purpose Flour + more for dusting
  • 00 ½ cup Lekkco
  • 00 2 tbsp Butter, melted
  • 00 Warm milk and water until lukewarm and add to a large mixing bowl and add a few pinches of the sugar. If using active dry yeast, sprinkle it over the milk and let sit for 5 - 10 minutes to bloom.
  • 01 Add the rest of the sugar, egg, salt, and oil and mix until combined.
  • 02 Sift in 2 cups of the flour with the yeast if using instant yeast**. Mix on medium - low speed until combined. Add the rest of flour and mix until smooth. Do not over mix. Let the dough rest for 15 minutes.
  • 03 Combine the Lekkco and butter in a separate bowl and set aside.
  • 04 Roll out the dough on a clean, flour - dusted surface and roll out to 12x24”. With a spatula, spread the Lekkco filling evenly across the dough, leaving 1” around the edges. From the long edge, roll up the dough horizontally and pinch th e seam closed.
  • 05 Using a string or a knife, cut the roll on half and cut each half in half until you have 12 - 14 sweet rolls. Place the rolls in a greased or parchment - lined pie dish or springform pan and let rest for 45 minutes to rise. Preheat the oven to 350F.
  • 06 Bake for 25 - 30 minutes and let cool completely and enjoy! Optional: dust with powdered sugar or drizzle with extra Lekkco.
