Panna Cotta

by: Corina Muhammad for Lekkco

In our opinion, Panna cotta is one of the easiest desserts to make. It sounds like it would require a lot of work, but overall this tasty treat won’t require much elbow grease. We wanted to take it a step further and added Lekkco. It’s probably one our new favorite treats.

  • 00 1 cup Milk
  • 00 1 cup Heavy Cream
  • 00 2 tbsp Sugar
  • 00 ¼ cup Lekkco
  • 00 2 ½ tsp Gelatin
  • 00 1 ½ tbsp Water
  • 00 In a small bowl, add water and sprinkle gelatin over the surface making sure it all gets hydrated. Set aside.
  • 01 In a saucepan, combine milk, heavy cream, and sugar over medium - high heat until it simmers. Remove from heat and stir in Lekkco until fully combined. Let the milk mixture cool until under 120F.
  • 02 Add the gelatin to the milk mixture and whisk vigorously for 2 - 3 minutes to be sure it has thoroughly dissolved.
  • 03 Add to the dish or mold of choice, let cool for about 30 minutes or until no longer hot to touch and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or preferably overnight and enjoy!
  • 04 *Serving suggestion in picture i s the panna cotta topped with whipped coffee (equal parts espresso powder, sugar, and water)
