Description

Souffles often sound intimidating and fancy, but have no fear! These delicious chocolate souffles can be made ahead of time, which means as dessert time comes around all you have to do is heat the oven up and put in them in.

Yield: 4 small souffles/ 2 large souffles

Ingredients
  • 00 2 Eggs, separated
  • 00 ½ c. Lekkco
  • 00 1 tbsp Butter for greasing
  • 00 2 tbsp Sugar for coating
Preparation
  • 00 Preheat the oven to 375F. Coat the souffle dishes thoroughly with butter, making sure to get the inner corners greased but not over the rim. Coat the insides with sugar thoroughly. Set aside on a baking sheet.
  • 01 Combine egg yolks and Lekkco in a medium sized bowl, set aside.
  • 02 In a large mixing bowl, whip egg whites with an electric mixer until stiff peaks form.
  • 03 Scoop a dollop of egg whites into the Lekkco mixture and fold together. Once completely combined, add the rest of the egg whites and fold together ge ntly yet thoroughly.
  • 04 Pour soufflé mixture into the dishes until filled right under the rim.
  • 05 Bake for 15 minutes and serve immediately.
