Chocolate Oatmeal



Need to switch up your oatmeal?  Make your morning amazing with this easy chocolate oatmeal recipe.  Not only will it look beautiful, but it also tastes indulgent without the guilt.  This is one of our co-founder’s favorite recipes. 

This oatmeal is gluten-free, vegan and can be made nut-free. Your breakfast just got interesting.  Impress guests at brunch with this beautiful bowl.

  • 00 1 Cup of steel-cut oats (such as Bob's Red Mill Steel-Cut Oats)
  • 00 1 Cup of milk of choice
  • 00 2 Cups of water
  • 00 1/4 tsp kosher salt
  • 00 1 Jar of Lekkco Belgian Dark Chocolate Spread
  • 00 Chia seeds
  • 00 Banana slices
  • 00 Almonds (optional)
  • 00 Cinnamon ( optional)
  • 00 Combine oats, milk, water and salt, in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low.
  • 01 Simmer uncovered for 15 to 20 minutes until desired thickness, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  • 02 Mix in 2 tbsp of Lekkco
  • 03 Garnish with banana slices, almonds and top with extra Lekkco!
  • 04 Sprinkle cinnamon for that extra pop of flavor.
  • 05 Sit and enjoy!
